The awards season started a while ago, and for any fashionista out there it remains interesting to note what celebrities wore to the red carpet. Rules and trends are made and broken here, as the fashion hungry applaud or criticize in return.
Our team witnessed the revival of rather a fad, the back necklace. The trend has a lot of historical connection with Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's as well as Lady Diana. Celebrities often, in a gap of a few seasons, embrace the trend again. At Oscars 2013, Jennifer Lawrence did a minimal version of the back necklace and Anne Hathaway a slightly more encrusted one. At Cannes 2013 red carpet Selita Ebanks also sported her own version.
Even though, the trend is popular for Christian Brides, we personally love seeing it on the street and in day-day live when you wear a backless blouse or dress.
